The Mill House is believed to be of 16th
century origin, having previously ground
corn for the nearby Benedictine Priory
and later restored as a bake house which
produced bread for the neighbourhood for
three centuries until the last war.
We hope you enjoy our relaxing
atmosphere and most importantly the
food. Our head chef Ant Cron is an
expert in using the best local ingredients;
home grown herbs and certain vegetables
we aim to create an enjoyable time for
all.
At the Mill House we have a civil
licence for weddings and naming
ceremonies including outdoor facilities,
weather permitting.
For the smaller wedding breakfasts we
offer a package of; a 3 course meal with
coffee, a drink on arrival, your meal,
flowers and linen table cloths in our
private dining room at £34.00 per head
Our Christening package offers a BBQ
buffet, pizza’s from our wood burning
oven and a dessert at just £12.50 per
head and no room hire charge.
We can also cater for special birthdays
and celebrations from any number, groups
of 25 – 45 can have a private dining
room.
